JERGER has its origins in 1866 when Wilhelm JERGER invented, developed and produced industrially alarm clocks. Most of the world's demand for accurate travel clocks, marine and nautical timers and weather condition instruments were fulfilled by JERGER. The renowned JERGER Chess clock series, cuckoo clocks and the OFFICIAL DISNEY CLOCK collection, hotel -, kitchen - and bathroom wall clocks are know to be of the highest standards during the company's 130 years of history.

The Swiss-German Family from La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland and the Black Forest in Germany has contributed to the Clock Industry development like few others families and has produced and distributed products in over 120 countries.

 

"The Elite of Chess"-players considers the Jerger-Chess product series a benchmark in accurate, mechanical performance and timekeeping in championship competitions.

JERGER sold its clock production activities in the 90's. 


Intellectual Rights, patents, trademarks, historical timepieces and archives have been conserved by the Jerger Time Collection.



Since 1985 the family business concentrates on the development and ownership of landmark properties, historical estates, residences as well as agricultural land, forests and Grand-Cru vineyard ownership, investments, business and financial co-operations.

Disaster support and Charity Initiatives, historical preservation and the Education of underprivileged Children are other results of the social dedication and personal commitment of the family activities for the past five generations.
