Markus Jerger appointed
"UNESCO GRAND PATRON"
Following 15 years of active support for the UNESCO Education of Children in need, Markus Jerger has been appointed :
GRAND PATRON to the worldwide UNESCO PROGRAMME "Education for Children in Need".

Mr Jerger's appointment was based on his role in improving the lives of millions of needy children by resourcing substantial financial donations and by securing the help and support of important personalities. He also acts as the liaising with UNESCO and the UNESCO Foundation for EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN in NEED since 2001.
The award was presented to Markus Jerger by his mother, the long-standing UNESCO Special Ambassador Dr.h.c.Ute-Henriette Ohoven, on 15th October 2004.
